As the church grows throughout Cambodia there is a great lack of missiologically trained local leaders. The need for strong and properly contextualized teaching is vital to the health and growth of the local church as we move the Gospel forward into the next generations.
Cambodia is blessed with a growing church and many young Christians. Due to the tumultuous past of this beautiful country, there are so many poorly educated leaders in local churches. Young Christians cannot receive the education needed through their local pastors…
Enter: Able to Teach
Able to Teach was born with the dream of modeling Paul’s example in teaching Timothy who in turn taught others who were able to teach others also. Able to Teach teams with institutions of theological education in Cambodia to provide bachelor’s and master’s degrees to equip Cambodian Christians. The goal is to send out spiritually mature leaders into Cambodia with the skills and biblical foundations needed to either plant or assist local churches and reach out to their local communities.
Able to Teach is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization under the IRS. Able to Teach is directed by a seven member board which has members in the both the United States and in Asia. Able to Teach helps to support students of theological education institutions in Cambodia such as Phnom Penh Bible School. Able to Teach provides you with the opportunity to PARTNER with Cambodian Christians to TRAIN and SEND OUT leaders who can biblically contextualize the gospel message to reach places and people who would otherwise not hear the gospel message.

Provide scholarships and grants to develop Cambodian theological educators
Support teachers who are working in theological education in Cambodia
